Care For A Flush?

Steve and Gigi have now 'discovered' the toilet. When they see us going towards the washroom they both dash in front and take their positions on the floor on either side of the toilet bowl. I'll lift the lid and they'll both put their front paws on the toilet seat waiting for the 'action'. I then proceed to do a ceremonial flush for them and they watch with anticipation as the water swirls around and around and around and.....

So, every morning, I have to do this and then they are content to leave and let me have the washroom to myself!

Am I a slave to these two, or what? Let's just say it's been very interesting have these two here with us.

lol thats so cute!! When i go in the middle of the night Teddy will put his paws on the side of my leg and look at me like "mummy PAT ME!" lol. My sisters cat (part siamese) drinks out of the toilet bowl. U open the door and hes in there and its like "oops sorry Joey!" lol

George also likes to watch the water swirl in the bowl. But his new thing is when we "go potty" he climbs into his litterbox (in the master bathroom next to the toilet) and also has to "go"! Sometimes he does and sometimes he just goes through the motions...Guess he just wants to do what the humans are doing.

Bayley LOVES to watch the water go around... and around.... and around in the toilet, I always flush for him, just to keep him entertained

Teddy does this too! one of us will sit down and all of a sudden its like he thinks "OOH IM BUSTING!" lol.. and whenever my hubby goes to the shower (shower and toilet in same room) Teddy does REALLY smelly poos. We think he does this on purpose!

LJ has to watch us use the sink in the morning and watch the water run down the drain......

Butzie comes in to the bathroom every morning when I wake up. She supervises me by rubbing against my legs. Then she makes me flush a few times. Lately, I have found her drinking from the toilet when I'm not in there. She puts her paws in the water!

Wait until one (or both) of them decides to play copycat and flushes himself/herself. I've heard of several cats that do that.

That's so cute.

My 2 girls like to do that too... I have to keep the lid down in between because they like to sleep there. A couple of times my dh told me they jumped up there and almost fell into the toilet!

Oh yes, lids are always down here too. But I swear, the moment I walk into the bathroom, there she is at my feet. Sometimes she wants loving, sometimes she just wanders and gets into the tub. I imagine she thinks I need company.
