when i first found my boys I would flip them on there back and hold here paw and then them a treat and then let them go. i did that for awhile and then i added the nail clipping. Now that they are big boys sometimes they will jump up on my lap and try to roll on to there back so they will get a treat! so nail clipping in a breeze!

Wow! That sounds easy! Most of my cats ALLOW me to clip their nails, but the ones that dislike it let me know!

Asim and Isha have taken a disliking to it in their old ways. I think they just don't like the sound of there clippers, as I have never accidentally cut a cats quick.

Tage however, as long as I talk to him like a baby and give him kitty love he'll let me do it.

The second day after i adopted Venus, i had more than 20 scratches on my body!

She had such long, long nails and they really hurt.

On the third day, i brought her to Petco to get a trim. These days, i just trim them myself. She lets me now. i guess it takes time to overcome the hurdle!

p.s. i still have a little of her scratch marks ~ sigh!
