So I come home from running an errand and found my cat sleeping in this position. She of course looked up to see what I was doing. She never sleeps like this but I guess it felt good to sprawl out. You can see from this pic just how obese she is and why I'm desperately trying to get her to lose weight. That's where my new little aby hopefully comes in!

I just love her orange belly fur!

You know that pregnant cats sleep on their backs to relieve the pressure on their spine so though she is not pregnant, she is trying to relieve that pressure on her spine.
Our overweight cat, Oreo, sleeps this way as well.

Ha! She does look preggers that's for sure. Now if I could just train her to lay in this position while bench pressing some weights.
