Any update? It's been almost three hours since you talked to the vet and I'm so anxious to hear more! I hope all is well!

Okay so it has been a long afternoon...........I called my vet around 7 and they said it had been too long since we saw that first sac and to bring her in for a check up cause she hadn't started contracting. They were going to give her a shot to start her contractions. Soooooo we got into the car and got down the street and she started having really strong contractions. We turned the car around and headed home so she could be in the comfort of home. This was at 7:30 and at 8:05 the first kitten was born.
Nemo did great!!!!! He/she is looks grey and weighed 4oz. The baby is nursing now and we are just waiting for more to come.

Thanks everyone for your support. I will update as they are born.

Kitten two and three are here. Two was born at 9:25 weighing 4.5oz and three was born at 9:57 weighing 4oz. They are both also grey although right now #1 seems to have more beige then the other two but I'm not sure if that is because that was in the driest.

Nemo is doing AMAZING....she didn't even make a noise when #3 came out.

I think there might be 1 more in there. I'll keep you updated.

Congrats! I must admit I was a little concerned about the first sac and then no kitten, but I'm wondering if that first thing was the mucous plug...??? and kisses to Nemo and yourself!

I was really nervous with that as well. Now that I have seen the birth I realize that the first sac we saw didn't look at all like the sacs that kittens were born in. The first sac was dark and the kittens sacs were white. I think the first thing might have been the plug or her water breaking...if they have that.

I have been almost two hours since #3 arrived so I think we are done. Momma and babies are resting comfortably.

I am going to start a new thread in a few minutes with pics.
