Nemo has been funny all day and starting having contractions last night. About 10 minutes ago I was brushing her and noticed a funny discharge. I immediately took her to her box and then wiped the discharge away.....the only way I can describe it is like a ball of snot (sorry if that grosses anyone out). It was not clear, kinda of a yellowy color with some blood in it.....could this be her plug? Do cats have plugs? How long will it be now???? Please help.

yes cats have a plug. i seen this kind of discharge with my cats too and they had their kittens either the same day or the day after. your wait is over the kittens are coming.

I have no idea what kind of cat she mated with. She made the big escape Dec. 22 and we didn't see her again until Christmas morning. It's all a big surprise.
