Just general questions about it. How does it work? Do I use it all the time or only for extreme stress? I'm wondering how it works compared to felaway.

I'm interested in this too. I've been told it's good for travel and that I should use it when I bring my kitten home on the four hour drive. However, I just don't know much about it and if it's really worth the $.

I can't tell you how it works for cats...although I've been told good things. I can tell you however, that rescue remedy brought me through part of a very tough time. It tastes like heck, but works.
I've tried giving my guys some travel stuff of the likes before. I didn't feel it made any difference, since one panted and the other howled the whole way (3 hour trip). Maybe the real stuff is better quality though *shrugs*

I did a google search for it and all the results seemed to imply human use. I'll definitely keep it in mind when I'm going through a rough patch but right now my concern is the cats. Frankie pees on the floors (I've tried just about everything and it IS behavioral) and Wickett is constantly harassing her and is in general a very nervous cat.

I have used Rescue remedy on Sibohan who is a very anxious traveler. I normally put it in her water a few days befor going anywhere and it tends to calm her down some, not compleetly but she is more docile and easier to manage. It's almost as if it's a stress reducer for her.

I only use it about an hour before we leave for shows, they get a shot in the mouth and some patted onto the head.

Some people do use it all the time, put in the water bowls. My sister's grumpy boy gets a daily shot in the mouth, chills him out for most of the day so he can get along with all the other cats better (she used to let them outside but now keeps them in, Sebastians not too happy with that)
