Well, Gary went to pick up Juli from the Vet's this morning to take him over to the boarding facility. One of the Vet assistants, who helped Juli (and us) after the first tragic adoption experience, fell in love with him and decided she couldn't live without him. They ALL coooed and oooed over him because he's such a big goofy softy love bug, but she had an older cat that required a lot of care. Sadly, her older kitty passed away, leaving her with just the one pet (an orange tabby female).
She is really wonderful with animals. Though they live on a farm and have barn cats, Juli is going to be a pet kitty, and along with his soon-to-be new friend will be allowed to be an indoor-outdoor kitty if he wants to be. Of course she'll keep him inside until he knows he's "home." :tounge2:
After what poor Julius has been through, he needed a really special family or mum to adopt him. And he's getting it! Someone is watching out for Juli, and our prayers are working.
We've been to her home, and she has a GREAT setup. I am SO thrilled that she, of all people, has decided to adopt him!!! Of course I'm sad her kitty went over the bridge, but Juli gets a great kitty mum!!!!
Gary and I are going to go visit them this weekend.
