OKay in the past week EVERYWHERE I go at lunch time my mother seems to get there just before me or just after me and it's freaking me out.

OKay last thursday I had some running around to do at lunch and ended up haveing to go to Canadian Tire to get some antifreze for my car. Don't I pull in directly in the parking space in front of my mom's car as she is getting out of the car. She had no idea I was going there.... there were 5 other stores in town I could have went to.

Today I decided to get a Sub for lunch and dosn't the EXACT same thing happen. and once again there were 4 different sub shops I could have gone to. I only went to that one because I also had to go get some Advil and the Pharmacy.

I think mom and I are having Psysic episodes or somthing, but it's begining to give me the Heebie-Jeebies.

Has something similar ever happened to you?

Either that, or your mom is leading a double life as a secret agent, and you're under investigation...

My mom & I think alike. We were both stopping for lunch somewhere & stopped at the same place. I think it's because she & I would go places together & we still continue to go those places!

My mum and I seem to have a bit of a connection as well. At one point when I was living in the UK and having a bit of a rough time, I swear every time I was sitting down and thinking about her, or talking about her - she'd ring.

I was working in a pub (also where I was living), and telling some of the regulars about how twice in a row she'd called when I'd been thinking of talking about her, when the pub phone rang. I laughed and said "I bet that's her", answered it, and it was!

I was working hard, and never got much time to myself, so rarely got a chance to stop and think about home, and mum only rang once every week or two, so it's not as though she was ringing all the time.

My daughter and I have had that kind of connection for years. When she was about 2, she fell and had to go to the ER to get 2 stitches in her cheek. I was at work, and it was like something was physically dragging me away. I went where the feeling led me, and ended up at the ER. After it was all over and we were leaving, my mother realized she had not even called me. When she asked who called me. my daughter popped up and said "I did." She was not old enough know numbers or dial the phone.

I've always known when it's my mother calling even though I've never had have caller ID or different ring tones. It good because it gives me a few seconds to brace myself before answering the phone.

My husband and I have some kind of connection. This has happened twice (once he was in New Zealand, and once in Australia) we picked up the telephone and dialed at the exact same time and were connected but the phones never rang! How weird is that!
