New to forum but not to cats.

Hello,
My name is Katie. I am from Grand Rapids Michigan. I have 2 cats Cubby (male) and Rachel (Female). I also have 2 dogs as well. I have Gracie (doberman) and Thumper (midget mutt). All of my animals are my children, and are treated as such.

Cubby is my first cat in my adult life. I had cats growing up my entire life. But he is my first out on my own with my hubby of course. (Did I mention the hubby? I probably didn't, I have a habit of forgetting him. )

Rachel came a few years later. I got her from a friend of mine who could no longer care for her. So I took her in. She is a wonderful cat. She doesn't cry, she purrs all day and I do mean all day. She doesn't complain about anything. All she wants is love, oh and food. Those are the only 2 things she wants in life.

I'm taking the new boy to the vet in the AM, then going to work I'm off by like 5-6 or something. But then Tom and I are painting the hallway. It got all nicked up when we moved in, but I just haven't gotten around to painting it yet. He has to help me b/c it's the stairway hallway, and we have to use a ladder. I hate painting.

Thank you. What part of Mi are you from? Is the snow almost over yet?

Jess- I love to paint. Unless I have to do it. We still have to paint the guest room. We just haven't gotten around to it yet. To many other things I could be doing. Like playing online, playing with one of the animals. Cuddeling with Gracie. You know that kinda stuff.

From the U.P. here I wish the snow was over...Theres too much snow! I am so excited for spring

I am too. I can't wait to get the pool set up. I can't wait to be able to go outside with out a coat on and not get cold.
