My girls are so much more snuggly now
Once we're in bed, Lily decides when it's time for lights out. She comes in, snuggles in against my belly between DH and I and purrs. She used to come and demand attention, then run away, or sleep at our feet, but now she gets right up close and gives us big cuddles. If we try and move, she gets grumpy at us, and starts nibbling at my fingers, so generally when Lily's decided it's time for lights out, we turn the bedside lights out.
And in the morning, she's still there snuggling. Once she thinks I'm awake (or at least partially conscious), she comes and sits on my belly/chest and gives me so much love that I end up putting the blankets over my head so she leaves me alone. This is from the girl who still runs away scared if I walk past her
