I came across this site when I was searching online for why my new kitten was having some tummy troubles.
My first little kitty was Seven. She was my little baby... but she left us a little over 2 months ago when she went into anaphylactic shock from a rabies vaccination. I cried for her so much - she meant the world to me. To try to move on, we tried to adopt another cat here, but the day that we were scheduled to go and pick her up to take her home, we found out that she died that morning (she was a little stray that the police found in the woods). The shelter doesn't know how she died... Her name was Chess. I wish I had a picture of her.
We knew we would have to try to adopt again soon, because there was just too much sadness. I'm happy to say that we have a new kitty now. His name is Grabben (which means boy or buddy in Swedish). We got him last week and he's a great little kitty. He always has to be on my lap when I sit down - I love how he is so cuddly!
