Babies sexually assaulted - how do we stop these crimes??

Two separate stories, but both victims were 3 mo. old baby girls. One case has 2 alleged perps from Connecticut and the other is a MI ex-paratrooper who served 2 tours in Iraq. One child suffered 17 broken bones & brain damage - OMG, how can this happen???? How can it be prevented???

I didn't even read the stories, just the small bit you wrote was enough to make me gag. I cannot even imagine...not even in the deepest depths of my brain...what would make someone do something like that. Vile, absolutely vile.

Unfortunately monsters like that cannot be stopped unless as in this case, someone is brave enough to stand up and say something. I hope they live live long lives in a small cell with a big, ugly pervert that will do the same to them. People like that do not last long in prison, unfortunately. They should live for many years being treated like they treated those poor babies.

Years ago I babysitted a little girl that had been a victim of sexual abuse. She was only 3 1/2 at the time I started watching her - I think this was over a year after it happened. The mother didn't know. She came home early from work one night and caught her husband - the girl's father...

She'd be around 14 years old now and I can only hope that none of those memories stayed with her.

Lord, where are the parents when this is happening!?!?

And if the parents are involved..well...I just have nothing to say that is allowed on TCS about that.
