Morning Everyone!!

I am happy!!! I can SEE! You don't understand how awful it was to struggle to read things from distances. Heck, I couldn't read bumper stickers without having to inch up to the car in front of me and practically be on top of them.

Last night - I read my first bumper sticker without having to move the car forward. Ironically enough it said "Life is Good"

I think it's supposed to rain here again
We've been having such nice weather too. Also it's a half day for our school district which means for the kids
school is out early and for us afterschool program teachers
we have to be back at work earlier than usual.

Thanks, I found some tickets from a website - not sure if I'm allowed to say the name - it's a reputable one that I've used for gig tickets before, and my d.h. bought them for my birthday. It's at Earls Court, so we'll be sitting up really high, we'll probably need binoculars to see the people on stage, but I hope they'll have some big screens up.

I think we all need some sunshine!

Morning All!!!!

Well the sun is shining here this morning but it is -25 however, not sure what the wind chill is maybe it's better that I don't makes it harder to go outside.

Taking Pixie to the vets shortly, she has a swollen lower lip which I think is a clogged scent gland. Hopefully it isn't anything to serious. She's a good girl so I am not expecting her to be a problem.

Other then that it is work as usual after lunch.

Everyone have a good day

Morning all!!

Sunny but very chilly today -1F (-17C) without windchill!!

Do you know that there is a lunar eclipse tonite?????

Anyhow had may spa class at the botanical garden and had a foot soak with epson salts and mustard powder. We put marbles in the basin and rolled are feet around-it felt great!! I did a rose hip facial too. Got lots of easy recipes to make your own products and a name of a great book (make your own shampoo!!) if anyone is interested.

I made more kitty blankets-have one more quilt to cut down and sew and then I will be done with this batch.

Trying a couple of different recipes today-a hearty veg soup and a skillet baked spaghetti with meat sauce.

Keeps warm!!

Happy Birthday!!!!

I am taking my mom to the wound care center at the local hospital. She fell and bumped her head. It turned into a huge goose-egg. She's diabetic and on blood thinners.. So this needs to be seen by an expert. Sigh...

It's -17F degrees here, without the wind chill!! They're saying -50F with windchill.....BR!!

The dogs don't even wanna go out to pee!!

I would like to first point out I'm awake before noon, at 8AM actually! Second, it's cold. And third, I'm not leaving the house today unelss bound & dragged!

Hey folks - it's been really mild here in sunny Copenhagen! Around about 5-6C. It's slowly but surely warming up again and there are spring flowers pushing up the earth all over the show at work. I'm still job hunting, but I feel more positive about life when I can see sunshine - and for longer too!

Honestly, aren't people getting slow these days, Susan! "Up before noon".......

Good Grief that's late!! By 8am I'm already AT work and getting stuck into the days tasks! I'm awake at 5:30 - 6am every day and out of the apartment before 7am! And on good days, I cycle to work. Tsk tsk tsk, shame on you!

Ah, if you can sleep in that long, enjoy it, I say. I know there are lots of days I really wish I could lie in that late.
