I have a strictly indoor 16 1/2 year old cat who has been steadily losing weight. He vomits mostly spit occasionally, and has intermittent bouts with loose stools. Xrays taken about 6 months ago (due to weakness in his hind legs at that time) did not show any abnormalities. He recently had a complete blood workup and everything came back within normal range, so I am at a loss as to what to do now. Aside from the slow weight loss, he appears completely healthy, but he IS hungry all the time. Any suggestions would be most appreciated!

Just from what you have said in your post, you might think about trying a diet change. It sounds like he's becoming intolerant to the food. There are so many great prescription diets these days. It's possible that he's developed a sensitivity to food or irritable bowel syndrome. It's something to think about
