The wheel arrived and Ginger was the first to inspect it, naturally. (And the catnip helped, if I do say so myself.

She decides that the new cat bed mom bought is pretty comfy.
Penny is the next one to check out the new wood smelly-smelling thing in the kitchen, and within a moment she is showing Max what it is for:

I decided to use Da Bird to help coax Max onto it. Here is a pic of Penny running at a really good clip - you can see the lines in the feathers - that stayed still while Penny got going too fast for herself!
Max decides he likes it
and gives running in it a try - these next pics were taken tonight, on his first birthday.
Isn't he just the cutest?
Please notice the rakish angle at which he wears his collar and tag. The collar that has colored stones all around it - it is an official Harley-Davidson brand cat collar. He's got some interesting style, that boy!
