Hello,

I have 2 med long hair kitties. I need advice on how to trim the back end fur. Every now and then something nasty will get stuck. Also I see the 2 kitties struggle cleaning themselves since the hair in the back is much longer. Any advice?

Thanks!

Most people just trim the long hairs with sissors, but of course be very careful, and only do it if you feel your cats will put up with it and not get hurt, or hurt you.

There is the option to have it done at a groomer, or just get them totally shaved for the most part, but that's pretty extreme for this case.

I have to trim buts too. I use a blunt end scissors. Its a small peoples grooming scissors i got at walmart. I found it by nail files in the cosmetic section. It works real good for cuting out mats and such.
