Raven and Jack got shots last week. Raven got her distemper and rabies and Jack just got his distemper. Jack was actually old enough for his rabies as well but I accidentally wrote his birthday down wrong (I made him a month younger than he actually is
).
Anyway, we are moving the 1st of March, 4 hours away. Raven is 6 months old and the vet suggested that I wait until after we move to spay her, just because we had to wait at least 2 weeks after her shots and that would bring us to the last week we are here and that would be too stressful to her.
They both need to get a booster on March 11th (and Jack his rabies). Can they spay her the same day they give her a booster shot or do I need to wait? If I wait it will probably be another month.
When do cats usually go into their first heat and how long does it last?
