shots, spaying, heat and other questions

Raven and Jack got shots last week. Raven got her distemper and rabies and Jack just got his distemper. Jack was actually old enough for his rabies as well but I accidentally wrote his birthday down wrong (I made him a month younger than he actually is).
Anyway, we are moving the 1st of March, 4 hours away. Raven is 6 months old and the vet suggested that I wait until after we move to spay her, just because we had to wait at least 2 weeks after her shots and that would bring us to the last week we are here and that would be too stressful to her.
They both need to get a booster on March 11th (and Jack his rabies). Can they spay her the same day they give her a booster shot or do I need to wait? If I wait it will probably be another month.
When do cats usually go into their first heat and how long does it last?

Thanks for listening to my ramblings.

IMO, the sooner you spay her the better. If she's in heat when you move, that'll make things more difficult because she'll be wanting to get out.

They can do shots & spay on the same day.

I will see if our new vet in our new town will spay her on the same day she gets her booster shot (3/11).

Mine got the last booster the same day they got fixed and everything was fine.
