Well there was a bit of the discharge in the very middle of it bi it was maybe the size of this asterix *...then all the way around it was wet, just wet.....her tummy had a hardening right before that too....I dont want to get excited because if i do she will not have them, she has been sleeping alot today and not eating as much(half of what she usually eats) but she has done that before. I dont know what to think....hopefully this is a good signs.......

I really hope she will have them tonight! I'm sending her all kinds of mental messages telling her to just push those babies out!

Thanks Hopefully yours work better than mine, we are expecting a huge storm here tonight so if she decides to have them its a great day to do it, chances are my college will be closed tomorrow, so if im up all night its ok, but she wont, she might just wait till my bday....Thursday...to have them, that would be a nice present but i would like it early....lol

The wet spot is usually when the water breaks and the kitten is born within a few mins to an hour or two/ Hopefully that kitten is not stuck or all the sac fluid has come out with no kitten.

My one queen had that happen - the water broke too soon and the kitten was born "dry" - she had a very tough time getting the kitten out - it was painful - so much that she actually bit me and cried out on the last push. The rest of the kittens were born fine, but I felt so helpless cause I know that was not a good thing and I was right there to do anything I could.

BTW the kitten was fine after being born - just dry instead of wet.

Nemo's water broke at 3:00 in the afternoon and the first kitten was born at 8. We were on our way to the vet when her contractions started. My vet said not to let it go more the 4 or 5 hours after her water broke, we were on our way to get the shot when her contractions started. Just keep and eye on Dill, I would say the kittens are coming soon. Your getting the same storm we are expecting so I hope she has them with no problem and you don't have to go out to an emerg. vet in the middle of 25cm of snow.

Good Luck!

My sons birthday is on Thursday too! I was actually secretly hoping that rupy DOESN'T have her kittens on that day because I have so much to do! It would be a great birthday present for you though! Maybe Dill wants to give you babies for your birthday!

UPDATE

GUESS WHAT......

NO KITTENS......NO CONTRACTIONS...

She has had more discharge but nothing else, no more wet spots nothing.....I sopke to the vet and she said there is no "rule" to how long after they begin to loose the plug till they deliver, " as long as there is no blood and the kittens are still moving and she seems ok, we will Wait it out, maybe things are not as far as we thought" OMG IM SO TIRED OF waiting it out

did I say Saturday? I think I meant NEXT Saturday!

When I took Elsa to the vet, he xrayed her and said, "at least 2 kittens, maybe 3, in no more than 10 days." 3 weeks later, she had 8 kittens.

Its nice to know I can rely on my vet....lmao......so maybe ill just wait for it instead of taking her in on friday if she doesn have them, I mean If she is ok and the kittens are ok and she isnt in any danger then why take medical intervention??? If, however, there are problems or anything like that the OBVIOUSLY medical intervention is needed, but I dont think i want to put her through that...what if the vet is wrong on due dates, obviously that is possible....lol.......Today she has been cleaning more and sleeping more, eating has slowed more too.....snaking but not alot, its getting close i can feel it.....Today would be a great day, no school today got snowed in....

No kittens yet!?!? Come on Dill, what are you thinking holding them in? It's the perfect time! (I think any ime she has them will be perfect though after she's kept us guessing for so long though...
) With the luck we've all been having lately Dill will probably wait for another week before she decides to have them.

...at any rate though, more vibes are coming her way for a speedy delivery!
