Say Hello to Bella.

This is Bella our newest member to the family. She is 9 weeks old. Shouldn't even be away from Momma yet but when people push and push to get rid of puppies you can only do what you can.

Bella is a mix of Miniature Schnauzer and Jack Russell. She is so tiny compared to the cats. She has her first vet appointment today. She has never been wormed or had any vaccinations. She was covered in fleas so we used Dawn dish soap on her last night. There are also a couple of sores on her back that I need to have checked out.

Takoda and Magnum are totally fascinated with her. I'm not sure if that's good or bad yet. The cat toys are just her size. All of my dog toys are huge compared to her.

I would get some Frontline (for puppies) for her, just to make sure you wipe out the rest of those fleas...you wouldn't want the rest of your crew to get fleas later on...yucky bugs!!!

I'm not sure, maybe between 12 and 14 inches tall. She is an "oops" litter between a Miniature Schnauzer and a Jack Russell.

I shouldn't be surprised at how well she and my Bengal boys have bonded. Magnum and her are a riot to watch.


Bella will take the toys right up to Magnum and drop them at his feet and they then wrestle over it.


Takoda and Bella play chase up and down the halls. She will chase him and then he will chase her. She has almost as much energy as they do.

She is learning a few manners from the dogs as well. Scoobie just can't understand why this itty bitty dog isn't scared of her big bad self.
