My she-cat has this odd issue of vomiting her food sometimes right after eating. We can tell because the food's not digested. My vet has told me it could be hairballs or it could be her food. Right now she's on Iams Healthy Naturals and I have'nt seen any sign of ick.
She's also a skittish and nervous cat, so could this issue be because she's neervous? Ideas and such would be great!

Do you have another cat in the house? I had a kitten living with me who would gulp her food down so fast because she was afraid the big cats would get it that she would throw up. When I put her in a private room, she would never do that.

No, but we do have a little dog.
Kisa May's food and water is here in my room, next to me to that I can keep tabs if Skippy (the dog) gets into it.
I have seen Skip get into Kisa May's food, but not in a long time. I'll keep that one in mind, thanks.

You might try feeding her in a separate room where the dog can't get in (possibly with the door closed) to make her feel more secure. Also, raising her bowl, or spreading the food out on a platter or plate can force her to eat more slowly so she's less likely to be gulping lots of air.

ETA: I also recently bought some treat balls which Zek has to roll around in order to get the pieces of kibble out. It works great in getting him to eat more slowly.

My vet taught me a trick to get my cats to eat more slowly--put a golf ball (or 2) in their bowl with the food. They have to eat around the ball(s) which slows them down. They may take the food out with their paws if they are really creative (mine do) but at any rate they are slowed down!

Now that's a good idea!
Kisa has a shaker feeder, would that cause any problems with pulling a ball in there?
