kitty trying to drool on my face every morning.

Hi,
Every morning my kitty cuddles up to my neck/face, puts his paw on my face and I believe he is trying to drool on my face/mouth. I try to move his paw and he keeps putting it back on my nose or mouth. I can hear him trying to get his saliva going. Once in a while he hits me with a drip if I am not quick enough. What the heck is that all about? Should I be insulted or honored?

You should be highly honored! My Alley does that every night. She crawls up on my chest and drools, I assume because she is so happy to be there.
