Did anyone watch this? I absolutely loved this show when I was a kid and was so excited that is what making a comeback
Last night was the finale and I have to say that my favorites won
I can't wait to find out what their gladiator names will be

I recorded it and I'll watch it tonight...I am a little sorry that I haven't seen those big human hamster balls this time around (that was my favorite part of the original).

oh my gosh! I totally forgot about those!!
They show reruns of the original series on the Spike channel, I have to check them out to see what else they left out

I also used to watch as a kid. I saw last nights airing and thought it was cool that they have many of the same events I remembered. Did they add any new ones this season?

I don't think they added any new ones, but they did change a few. One of the main things is that when you fall down, say in the joust or on hang tough, you fall into water

The did add the bridge thing didn't they? Also, that one where they are on the thing just above the ground and it moves and tilts, though that is just like the circle one they used to have on the ground when you went through 3 people when they used to have the football.... is anyone following my train of thought? LOL

sheesh, the season's over and it's already out of my head! That bridge one is called Hit and Run and you're right! that is new and the one where they're on the "girating" (not my choice of word) platform is Earthquake. They used to have a wrestling one, but the moving platform is new. I think they changed the hamster ball one to where they run around on foot and have to get the ball in goals, it's called Powerball, a couple people got injured on that one.

I really have to see when the old series is on Spike!

I loved the finale and am sad it's over for now. I thought they couldve made it an hour though, without the clips from past episodes. Or have from 7-8 be that, and 8-9 be the finale, so you didnt have to watch the whole thing.

I'm glad the girl won, but I would've liked the other guy to win. But I knew that was never gonna happen since the other one was a beast in the eliminator. But it was a great season overall and I can't wait till next! And I hope all the same Gladiators are there next year as well!

The powerball game was part of the original, but I think the hamster balls were part of another game like that...they rolled back and forth trying to get points while the gladiators chased them?


Now I wish I hadn't cheaped out on the cable so I could watch them on Spike
...It's like being in 5th grade again...
