I have now had Nova for 63 days, and she is an indoor-only cat.
I am not sure the exact date of conception.
She was outdoors up until the day I went to pick her up.
(A stray who had been in a friends yard for a couple of weeks.)
So she'll have her kittens any day now.
Earlier this week, she had a twitchy bottom and was frequently laying on her side and kind of "peddling" with her hind legs. She seemed restless and made cooing sounds whenever she was awake.
She did this for two days before I took her to the vet to check that everything was still OK.
(I'm so nervous! This is my first litter of kittens.)
They told me she was just experiencing discomfort, and that she was not yet due.
They also told me that she was going to have 3 or 4.
(Where does she fit them? She looks small to me.)
This was on Tuesday.
So now I'm just waiting.
I think I see them moving around in there, but I'm not sure.
I hope that the delivery goes smoothly, and that they come out healthy.
(Nova was vaccinated the day after I got her, before she showed signs of pregnancy.)
Secondary to their health, of course, I'm anxious to see how the little ones will look!
