Mine also has been Campbells Tomato soup but I also have to have a grilled cheese sandwich with it to dunk in the soup and saltine crackers!

My Mom always made cheese noodles - perciatelli, grated Swiss cheese and sauted chopped onions. I used to have to grate the cheese and chop the onions. Thank goodness for food processors!

That is one of mine too
The best combo

My main one is my moms meatloaf and mashed potatoes with her homemade gravy
Nothing beats it!

I like to have a pickle on the side as well.

when I was young my mom used to take a piece of bread put a slice of cheese on it and then cup up hotdogs and make it look like a pizza... so to this day I have that if i'm homesick or not feeling well.
And cream of mushroom soup

Over the river and through the woods...
I hope no one pukes at this, but my comfort food is a slice of bread, peanut butter, miracle whip (NOT mayonnaise) sliced green olives and a slice of cheese on top.

NO, I'm NOT pregnant...and don't knock it until you try it!
