My Cat Zephyer likes to talk. A lot.
Meow this.... meow that. It can be cute but lately he is talking all the time. I ask him if he needs anything. I pour fresh water, and there is always dry kibble available for him to eat when he gets hungry. I pick him up and give him hugs and kisses and then he stops. But... anyone else have this going on?

Both Sadie and Dexter are talkers...
Nothing helps.

If you notice a change in Zephyer's behavior, that is when you might be concerned but the talking?
Good luck.

Forrest is a constant talker too. It does make it easy to always know where he is in the house.

It's like having a small child - if he's quiet for any length of time I usually get up and go check on him to see if he's either asleep or is getting into something he shouldn't.

Yeah I am concerned when I don't hear talking.

Jack is mr. personality--sometimes I think he talks just to hear himself. He definitely knows how to use it to his benefit.

If your kitty has some siamese/oriental type of cat in the background, that's probably why your cat is a talker. As long as the cat has food, water and cuddles, they just want to talk - doesn't mean they really want or need something

With 2 Orientals I have non stop noise! Nothing goes on around here without one of the boys offering their opinion

My cat who died this fall was a major talker. I miss it. Sometimes, when he wanted more food (there was always dry food out for him, but he knew to the minute when it was time for wet food), it sounded like he was saying, "Now? Now? Now?"

My cat even tells on herself, she can't keep that mouth shut, she has a certain meow when doing something she shouldn't! My kitty never shuts up
Even sleeping she purrs like a train.
