omg callie tried to attack

The mailman! I am doing some housecleaning and gonna try to shampoo carpets today . I sat down on the couch for a break and was watching the dogs play in the living room. Dixie started barking and running around so callie came to see what was going on(usually that bark means treat time). She jumps up on the couch arm beside me and sits there. Just then the mailman came to the door and i had the big door open with just the screen door shut. He starts puttin mail in our box and callie did this hiss-flying leap-growl and had the door not been between them she would have landed in his face! OMG he jumped about a foot looking dazed and shocked and quickly retreated away from the door grabbing for his pepper spray. I went out and appologized, he kinda laughed and said he has been dog bit, but never attacked my a cat. I promised him she stays inside and wouldnt be allowed to attack him again. I would have never believed she had done that if i hadnt been sitting right there watching.

Oh my. You need the sign that says, "Beware of attack Cat"

for real, i guess i do. that even startled me. i dont know whats gotten into her! Crazy lil beast.

Maybe it's that time of the month.

Wow I've never heard of a cat trying to attack the mailman. Mine just go over and sniff him and start rubbing up against his legs. He's also a cat lover and usually stays for a bit to play with them.

Wow!! Something in that scenario must of scared her silly to attack like that!

maybe she "knows" he dont like animals, he carries peper spray and sprays any dog that gets near him. all the babies seam jumpy today. i moved the trashcan earlier and every one of them jumped and looked around to see what was after them.
