Toy Issue going on here:

OK....i'm really hoping someone will be able to shed some light on this issue. I buy these cute bird and mouse toys. They have a some chirping noice. Myla absolutely adores them buuuuut................she carries them to her water dish and I then I find them right in the dish.
WHY?????

Thats sooo cute! Maia use to play with her rabbit fur mouse toys and when she was done put them in her water bowl!

Moses does that. He also has a stuffed Monkey that he will carry to his food dish and leave him flopped over the side (monkey head in the dish). I think he is just so lonely that he pretends his stuffed animal friends are pets too and need to be fed. We're getting him a buddy soon.

It's normal for a cat to put their toys in the water dish. Why? I have no idea. Maybe they are cleaning them??? But every other day I have to pick some "kill" out of their water dish. Your cat is absolutely normal (or all of mine are abnormal!).

I'm always finding a toy mouse or a ball in the water dish.
Elliott has an old pair of rolled up socks that he lugs around with him everywhere...I find them near the bowl, but never in it.
I guess it's exceptable to "Drown" the toy mice or the ball, but not the socks!

Thanx everyone for your input on this situation. I was really beginning to wonder as to why she was doing that. Now, it looks like I have no worries!
