Of the three males that showed up this month, two we neutered a couple of weeks ago. The last one - a beautiful black and white long air was too scared of people. I've been working with him for the past 2 weeks and 4 days ago he let me pet him for the first time. Once he got the hang of it he started following me around wanting to be petted
Today he actually let me pick him up! So I decided it was time for me to try and get him into a carrier. It was easier than I had thought (probably because he had no idea I was going to shut the thing when he was in). And off to the vet we went! He's there now in a restrainer and going to be neutered!
That's it! Last one of the roaming males that showed up! Hubby says we should put up a sign that says "anyone coming into our backyard will be neutered!"
