If I'm left a choice, then my side.
If Butzie left me a choice, I would be on the side. She does have her own ideas however.

Being an Asthmatic, I find it difficult to sleep on my back without struggling to breathe after a few minutes. I do find propping my head up with three pillows helps, but not for long as my head moves down the pillow!

I find it comfy sleeping on my right side, as I face away from the alarm clock and bright light that comes from it
and if I sleep on my tummy, I normally have an Arwen lie lengthways down my back so that I can't move

I nearly always sleep on my stomach, which is terrible for my spondylolisthesis. I am much more comfortable (and don't wake up in the middle of the night from excruciating back pain) since I've started sleeping with a pillow under my hips (a tip from my physical therapist!) Every once in a while, I find myself sleeping on my side, but only rarely.

I usually start out on my side. Sometimes I go back and forth between my side and my back, and always end up on my side again. I'm probably horrible to sleep with! Luckily Rob is a deeeep sleeper!
