RIP Danny Boy

At the vet yesterday, I ran into a woman I know with a young male cat who has mild HCM just like my Peter. She told me Danny Boy had past away suddenly last week. He was only 5 years old. The vet thinks Danny Boy had a stroke, somehow related to his HCM. What makes this so sad and scary is that Danny Boy had an ultrasound recently indicating his heart was functionally normally and that the HCM hadn't progressed. I really feel for this woman because she loved Danny Boy so much and was so committed to care. Our sweet boys shared the same internist and we had compared notes on their care.

Please keep her and Danny Boy in your thoughts and prayers. RIP sweet boy.
