I became the lucky owner of a baby male Russian Blue last May, but for those of you who remember my previous posts, I had a problem with him doing #1 and #2 on my comforter for about the first 5 months. It was stressful, frustrating, and tested my patience. There were times I regretted and thought twice about owning him.

It's been a little over half a year. He's much bigger now. We have mutually adjusted to his habit, and he has been problem free for a while now (although I still put away my comforter whenever I'm not sleeping), and he is ever so affectionate, playful, and smart. I'm so happy I have him around. And those big green adorable eyes are so beautiful.

So for those of you who might be fed up with your cat for whatever reason, or believe it's your last straw. Hang in there, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. The reward is worth it

That great news... I'm glad you stuck it out. I know how frustrateing it can be but now you have the pride in yourself that you can deal with the little problems in life and triumph. I'm glad to hear that he's making progress... and really when you look into those eyes you know it's all worth it.

With Shark, she will always test my patience, especially when she is pestering for her food bowl to be filled, even a few minutes after I have done so. She will constantly stand on her back legs and stretch herself up one of my legs and dig her claws right in (and mew SO loudly!)
Every day she does it, and I give in to her each time. I'm hoping she will grow out of it.

I'm glad to hear that your kitty is getting on well
