I always wear deodorant, but when it comes to perfume and sprays, i only wear it if i know it won't be a hot, sticky day, or for a special occasion. And as we are more rural now, there are alot of flies, and i do alot of walking, so smelling and looking pretty is less of a priority *sobs*.

But i went out to the shops to get a few things today, and spur of the moment i picked up this can of body spray in an attractive olive green bottle. It turns out it is made in Nottingham by a company called Boots (yay for owning more English things
) it's a hydrating/nourishing body spray with grape extract.

It has a very light fragrance. And it does actually make my skin feel nice, even though it's in an aerosol can. And it's also dermatologically tested (i have sensitive skin) And you know how much it was? $2!! I don't find these things often
i'm so silly
Oh and i just learned that they don't do animal testing (they didn't have it on the bottle mind you, naughty!)

I thought this was a very good find.

Are there any perfumes/sprays etc that you have found to be very beneficial to your skin, whether they're expensive or not. Do tell

First - Happy Birthday!

I would love to see this spray - I have sensitive skin and I love the Boots range - so I will have to look out for it!

You guys have Priceline over there? You know out the front how they have white cardboard bins with reduced stuff, that's where i picked it out of. I think it probably wasn't a popular one, or maybe end of the line. It's really hard to find info of this spray even on www.boots.com i can only see their other Botanics stuff like face cream/scrubs etc.

We don't have priceline but I will check out the pharmacies anyway cos we are always behind in products

I use skin friendly essential oils..
my top three faves (multi purpose)
Lemongrass oil: refreshing, uplifting, and treats sprains, muscle aches and soft tissue swelling
Sage oil: very clean smelling, great for calming
Sweet Birch: smells kinda like sweet wintergreen, place a small amount under your nose and your temples and your headache will be gone in 5 minutes! Awesome stuff!
I also use mandarin, and tangerine oils, tea tree (not for perfume tho), scuppernong seed oil and whatever else i find on my monthly trips to the health food store. I try to get a new one each month.
