New Phone

I got a new phone today! It is a Palm Treo! ITs awesome! I can check my email, get on the internet and do basically everything. I can purchase an air card and basically use my phone as a modem for a computer anywhere I get cell phone signal! Its awesome! Anyone else have smartphones???

lol. . . I CAN GET TCS ON THE PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is sad. . . I am on tcs right now... on my phone! you can see signatures gifts and everything!

See, a phone like that would confuse me so much that I would have to throw it against the wall! LOL! That's why I just have a simple trak phone (and still can't figure out how to set up voice mail, but the only person who calls me is DH so I really don't care if he leaves a message or not).

Congrats though! It just amazes me what a phone can do now! Maybe I should try and join the 21st century....

I don't have one like that, but my boyfriend has a blackberry so sometimes I use his to go on the internet.

If I used it more I would, however I'm always in front of a computer (it seems) and that would just prompt more and more communication....I need a break from people at some point.

Heck I wish they would take my text messaging away...whatever happened to picking up the phone and CALLING somone?!

it is confusing at times but I actually picked it up quite quickly... it is a good thing to have for when you have a lot of idle time! I can get my email, get on the internet an talk to you guys! that and after leaving the ex I needed to buy something expensive!!!!

I bought myself an HTC Mogul. It is still hard for me to figure out exactly how to work some things but I love it so far!

Sounds like a pretty cool phone. All I have is a prepaid cell phone that costs me $15 every three months (if I don't go over the limit).

I don't really have any need or desire to check emails, surf, watch movies, listen to music, whatever on my phone. It's awesome that you can do that stuff if you want to, but I have other ways I'd rather spend my money

That's awesome. Which treo? I recently got myself a 680, I was looking for a single device with PDA & phone combined; nothing fancy. However I must admit after getting the phone I do spent a good amount of time playing games on it.

I do. It pays to have a DH that is a computer geek and whose work is PDAs. I have an Iphone. I am SO spoiled.
