The kittens I take care of are just over a month old. Are they old enough to give them worming medicine? I heard that you aren't supposed to give medicine to a cat that already had worms? How do I know, if they all use the same litter box? What medicine do you recommend for babies??

Thanks!

If you are inexperienced then you really should take them to the vet and have it done. Kittens start on dewormer the same time they get vaccinated. They have 3 rounds of each one. Don't buy OTC dewormer unless you know what you are doing, mistakes can be too risky. If you want to learn, PM me and I will help you out. But I highly recommend just going to the vet. The mother cat will need dewormed too.

Please don't self-medicate kittens unless they have been seen and checked by a vet. Over the counter worm medicines are poison, and its far better to verify if (or what) the kittens may have before you give them medicine.

Plus the vet will weigh them and give the proper dosage.
