I am off from work today so I will have time to make dinner tonight. Anyone have any ideas of what I could make? I have hamburger, chicken, and pork available.

Mushroom hamburgers are good...

You make up some hamburger patties and gook them then drain off the grease. In a seperate bowl combine a can of mushroom soup, caned mushrooms( juice and all) and parsley. Mix and poor over the cooked hamburgers. Let it simmer for 20 - 30 minutes.

Serve with mashed potatoes, the mushroom sauce is great on potatoes

JK!

Pasta is always a good non-meat alternative.
No, I don't have a problem with meat.
My mom has been sick, doesn't eat a whole lot of meat, and nothing tastes right to her, so I am trying to find something for her I could make.

Pasta is always good. If she likes tomatoes and peppers, get a can of Del Monte diced tomatoes (the kind that has seasoning and green peppers in it), a yellow pepper chopped up, an onion, cilantro and spices you like (I make mine with cayenne pepper), heat in a skillet, then serve it with angel hair pasta. This is also good with chicken, but can be served without.

How about a simple spagetti & meatballs? That way, you can still have meat and your Mom doesn't have to?
