Silly Kitty

Marie just gave me the fright of my life. I was sleeping peacefully when something woke me up. Since my bedroom is pitch black, I can't see a thing but I instinctively looked around anyway. Naturally, I couldn't see a thing. So I decided to try to go back to bed. Less than a minute later, I felt something brush up against me. So I look around again and find nothing. Then all of a sudden I hear the loudest meow I've ever heard, right beside my head. It was so loud, it didn't even sound like a cat. I jumped out of bed and ran to turn on the lights. Then I see Marie just staring back at me, giving me the old "It wasn't me. I'm innocent." look.

Don't you just love it when they do that? I find it funny the next day...although at the time it scares the living daylights out of you, it's amusing to think about afterwards!

My Oliver does that, though usually not right next to me. He'll sit in the living room and meow pitifully like he's so neglected. Usually he does it at midnight or later, of course.

last night I woke up to feel Pepper burying herself under the covers right next to me. When she saw me awake and looking at her she kind of nestled her butt down a little more then looked at me and said "mow" then closed her eyes... It was so funny!

She justed wanted to tell you good night.

I can just imagine that

My Lyra snuggled down next to me then wriggled up to put her head on the pillow. My daughter thought I'd pulled the blankets round her till she did the same in her bed next night.

Its so lovely when they cuddle down.
