I just noticed it today, he is squinting and it's watering a lot. I looked at it and doesn't seem red or irritated and everything else about his behavior is normal.

Almost two weeks ago I took him to the vet because he was scratching his neck to the point where the fur was gone. The vet told me it was probably because of food allergies and gave him a shot, she also told me to change up his food. His itching stopped and I am a college student and I don't have much money, so I was waiting until his current food ran out to change it.

Anyway, I am bringing him to the vet tomorrow, but do you think this could possibly be linked to the food allergy? He also was around a kitten who wasn't the nicest (scratched his nose) on Friday so maybe she could've scratched it?

He could have got sick at the Vets too. My Cat caught URi there. Her eyes were Runny from that. Your Cat could have been cawed in teh eye by taht Kitten too.

Eyes are a tricky thing. I'm glad you're going into the vet, cause it could be anything. Let us know how it goes!

I think you're in the right going to the vet!! It could be an upper respitory infection (URI) or a great many of other things!! Keep us posted!!

As I am currently going through this now with Carter, I am very glad you're already going to the vet. It could be any number of things, so you'll need a proper diagnosis to find out what you need to be treating.

for your kitty!

Hoping the vet find s something easy to fix ...

On the food note REMEMBER you need to GRADUALLY switch ... most cats 7-14 days

So I went to the vet, and they gave me a cream/gel to put on his eye twice a day for a week. He said that is was probably just an infection and that it will most likely clear up. But if it gets worse it could be Herpes or Chlamydia.. which was really scary!! I have only heard him sneeze two or three times so I'm hoping that this is just some sort of kitty cold that will go away with the medication.
