I am always amazed at the different positions cats fall asleep in - Here's a couple of pics of Jimmy - has anyone else got any photos of their furbabies in strange positions?

Sal,

Cute pics! I know my two like to roll over and sleep on their backs a lot. That cracks me up. Troubles latest habit is to lay on her back against our Freshflow fountain. I geuss the flowing water soothes her.

Cute pics. My two do the same thing, I think they like being in 'yoga like' positions!!!

kahu sleeps on his back with his paws way out - the picture is in the sleeping kitties thread. its really cute and i just laugh every time i see him sleeping like that. hes a little kitten but he takes up so much space on the couch!!!!!
Peedoodle is a curler when he sleeps - hes always curled up and i have never seen him sleep in strange positions. he may sleep in strange places though.

Movin' on up!
Opie is pretty conventional: curled up in bed. Rowdy will, sometimes, stretch out full-length.

Ike sleeps curled up on the couch. Pearl likes to stretch out, full-length in the yard. If I'm on the couch, Ike flops onto his back, with his head in my lap and Pearl snuggles next to me, with her head in my lap.

My mother-in-law inherited a cat. Leibchen would stretch out (she was VERY long when spread out this way) on her back. Her front paws would be turned to the right, her back legs would be turned to the left.

Faile used to bury under blankets on the bed, or the throw on the sofa. Here she is in one I had folded after doing laundry.

Here she is sleeping upside down in the hall.

Last summer, when it was so hot, both cats slept in the entryway. It was one of the coolest spots in the house, except for the AC in the living room.

Molly is a bit of a contortionist.

When she was little, she loved the top of the computer.

These are great pics. They all look familiar. Gus has to be the one out of my three that has the most comical ways of sleeping. The cutest position he has is when he buries himself under the blankets and then comes back out and sleeps on his back with his head on the pillow and his paws outside of the blankets as if he's been tucked in. It's so cute. I sure wish I could get a picture of it to show you. He always seems to know when I'm going for the camera and he gets up or moves.

Here is pic of Tiki while she was sleeping. Usually she is stretched completely out and not usually sleeping on the stairs...
