Hey folks,

I love my WBCL, but as one of my cats *might* be allergic to corn, I'd like to get some recs on a good clumping non-scented or very faintly scented clay litter.

Of course, the less expensive, the better, but with 3 cats, great clumping ability is a must.

If you have any suggustions I'd love to hear them.

Thanks!

I use Precious cat. It's says it's hypoallergenic on the bag and there is hardly any dust. I have a kitten that sneezes with other litter, but not this one. It's also unscented. I'm really happy with this product and not too expensive 15.00 for 40lbs.

Do you use the regular (red bag I think) or the multi-cat/extra strength (blue bag I think)?
I had thought about that litter, but wasn't sure how dusty it was. Also, does it stick to the box badly?

I use Scoop Away. They have a nonscented version. I buy the Fresh Scent one at Costco for $10 for 40lbs.

i like Scoop Away, but i haven't been able to find the unscented version... so i'm using Exquisicat from Petsmart. it's dustier than i'd like, but clumps ok, & is unscented.

I use the multi cat (blue bag). It dosen't stick to the cat box at all. It clumps really well. I would recommend it to anyone using clumping clay type. I've tried a few brands and haven't found anything better than Precious Cat.

Well, I went to the grocery store tonight to pick up some things (including more feline pine). I saw a box of scoop away "free" so I picked it up... It claims to be "dye and perfume free" so I hope that is their equivilent of "unscented"...

It was $3 more than the feline pine, weighed several times as much, but was in the same size box...SO I'm assuming that it will cover about the same square footage.... making the feline pine scoop less expensive...

For those interested, the feline pine scoop so far is doing pretty well... clumps nicely, does a good job on controlling odor (both poo and pee, although better on the poo if they actually cover it up). The clumps do break apart, but not more than other litters I've used.

The dustiness is definately noticable... Much more dusty than the WBCL. Haven't seen any on the cats' hair, but they are very short haired and maybe they're licking it off.
