Hi my name is Shelly i am from the uk and owned by 5 cats. They are all rescues and a right handfull. But i couldnt emagine life without them. My greatest passion in life is cats. I have kept them for over 25yrs. I have recently set up my own forum about cats. I dont have much on it. and only a handfull of member's. But i am hoping it will grow in the future. I also have psp and animation shop. And recently started learning to make tags. Althou hubby has got to fix my pc so i can use them again. Wich i hope will be very soon.

Reintroduction

Well how things can change. As you can see i joined in February 2008
and i didn't stick around for long. I came across the forum again when i got a newsletter from KittyBytes because i am subscribed to the news letter.
At the time i had 5 wonderful furbabies. Sadly Pippa suddenly became ill and had to be put to sleep aged 1 1/2yrs old.

I took in a few more cats after i lost Pippa an 18yr old Persian who had Kidney disease who we called lady and had her for 5 weeks before she had to be put to sleep because her condition worsened and nothing more could be done.

Another cat a ginger and white tom decided to move his self in and became part of my family for 2yrs. I called him Sammy and at the end of Febuary he was found in the street, he had collapsed with a heart attack he was 9yrs old.

I now run my own private cat & kitten rescue. I rescue and rehome unwanted and abandoned cats and kittens in and around the Derbyshire area's. I am now well known by a few local vets and by my local cpl & rspca.

We are completely self funded and get no grants or funds from anywhere.


I currently have 22 cats in my care 2 of which are 8 week old kittens. I was hand rearing a kitten from 5 days old but she lost her fight in the early hours of sunday morning aged 5 weeks.

I am also lucky enough to be owned by some stunning Persians and Exotics.
