I'm so very sorry for th loss of your gorgeous litte Chichi. I always love seeing her mischevious little face in your signature, and when you posted pics of her.

Play happy, sweet girl.

Condolences on losing your special little princess. I know what you mean about the dog - seeing the other animals grieve can bring the pain back again so quickly. It's like having a piece of broken glass in your heart; as the days pass, and your heart feels like it's FINALLY beginning to heal - OH! something jars it and the wound opens anew. Fortunately, the times between the pain get further and further apart; even though we heal, we are still able to remember and to love our precious treasures in Heaven

My friends,

Thank you soooooooo much for your thoughts and prayers

The past few days I have been doing a little better. It is just so hard when you've loved someone so long- to let go. Life is kinda surreal lately, I am in such disbelief that she is really gone. Just today I stumbled across some silly pictures of her that were taken back in '98- ten years ago! She was acting such a fool too
Then I ran across her little brush with her hair still in it
it made me cry so bad because I could'nt even remember the last time I brushed her or played with her. My job has been so hectic lately a few people got fired, and I have been taking up a lot of slack. I would be so tired when I got home that all I would do is feed her and clean her box- then I was asleep- then gone again as soon as I got up.
I try to focus on the last good memory I have of her- the wed. before she passed, I was getting ready to go to work and she was following me around. I bent down and picker her up and held her- and like always she put her cute little paw up on my chin- to block the kisses she knew were coming lol- after a minute of so she let her paw down and I just smothered her with kisses
I feel as though that was her saying goodbye. She NEVER put that paw down, but she did that day. When I picked her up I noticed how light she felt-and not barely3 days later I lost her.
Sorry I keep babbling on and on here- just wanted to check-in and let you all know I'm ok I guess
talk at ya soon!

P.S. > is it possible for someone to edit my siggy? If so, can someone put her a RIP thing up? Pretty please

Darlin', I'm just now getting to this, I find it terribly hard lately to come to the Bridge, you're in my thoughts and prayers, and will be for days to come.......trust me, when you've had one that long, it takes awhile for the hurt to ease, and even then, sometimes when you least expect it, it STILL sneaks up on you! I'ts been five months since my Gizzy and Rurnt passed, and the other day I was sitting on the couch, just looked up at the place where Rurnt used to sit in the sun, and just started bawling again because the hurt was so fresh again.

Sweetie, don't ever worry about "babbling" here. We are here for you.
I'm so glad you were able to share such a special time with her on Wed., and she let you smother her with kisses.
What a wonderful memory!

I made you a new signature and changed it for you. I hope you like it.

it is so hard when they are taken that quickly. your memories will become a source of comfort to you in time. after all, they are filled with the love and friendship that you and chichi shared for so many years.

RIP chichi.
for you.

Chichi, too? It's been a heartbreaking few months for many our long term site members. I'm so sorry to read this. Sending many hugs.
She was a beauty.

OMG!

That is so beautiful

Thank you ever so much!!!!!!!! She looks amazing

Thank you all for your hugs
and prayers
I knew it would be hard when she was gone, but not this hard. You know how you have that goofy little voice for each one of your pets? It is so hard not to use that voice
I get ready to use it, then realize never again will I be able to talk to her. I know 18+ years is a long time, but I still feel like I was cheated, ya know? She was fine all the way up to that friday, and saturday morning we had to say goodbye. I can't believe it will be 2 weeks tommorow.

I'll check back in in a while~~~ gotta go cook now

Thank you all so much for being here for me
I love you all
