Sorry I haven't been around much.
been sick, and now the power is threatening to go out - ice storm outside.

Valentine is doing great, here are some post-op picts of her.

right now she is playing with the turbo scratcher, she has been playing with it for hours and hours!

Aw, she sure is enjoying those scritches!! So glad everything went well with the little girl. She's such a fighter, and will make someone a fantastic companion!

I hope that during times of adversity and ill-health that I will be half as tough as this little girl has been!

Poor kitty! I can remember the pictures of Valentine you shared with us a couple of weeks ago that showed her with such a determined look on her face. I think she looks SO MUCH more relaxed and happy now, and she looks like she just LOVES belly rubs!!!!!

It had to make her feel better to get that nasty foot off! The cats we've had here that have had amputations have all felt better when it was done. A nasty festering, or dead, limb just has to feel awful!

She is so happy and bouncy She loves belly rubs most of all, maybe even more than the turbo scratcher. I put her in her cage at night or when I'm not around, just in case.

I get migraines from time to time...especially when I eat things I know I shouldn't.
but but the chocolate was soooooooooo good and it had been soooooooooo long....
