Hi Misty has had a skin irritation for a few days now. I called the vet when I first noticed it and have been applying meds that were given to me the last time she had this. That didn't do the job so I called the vet back and she said to use an antibiotic ointment so I went to the pharmacy and bought it and have applied it. It seems to be helping to dry out the scabby angry looking wound. She also has hair loss in that area, had anyone else had this problem with their kitty and what did you do for it.

No I have not brought her to the vet at this time. Was trying to avoid that if I could. It has looked better lately but not completely gone. I will bring her in if this doesn't completely vanish.
