Can a Raw Food Diet reduce shedding?

Has anyone heard of a raw food diet - or a gluten free diet helping to reduce shedding?

I've posted more details about my cat's shedding in the "Care & Grooming" Forum.

shedding varies by cat... fatty acid level has alot to do with it...

Raw from my experience gave great coats but did little for shedding...
