I just saw this advertised on a trading website.

I think it's just disgusting. Using your animals like that.
I replied to the ad. I said,

I believe it is truly wrong that you're promoting backyard breeders and people who use their animals just to make themselves some money. Why do you think there are so many dogs and cats in shelters that get euthanised each year? Please pardon me if you are in fact a registered breeder, but hiring out your pet to get whatever dog comes along pregnant is just wrong in my opinion (and in many others'). You should be ashamed.

I can't get over the fact that this person would advertise like that!
They have no shame!

I've seen ads that say "my dog needs a boyfriend!" and stuff like that. *puke*

BYBs are ruining dog breeds.

That is truely horrible! I've never come across and ad like that myself..... You're dog could get a disease so easily!!! How sickening!

I don't know how things are done in the "dog world" of breeding, but to accept just any old female without registration documents just because she is "on heat" is truly reprehensible, IMO. Breeding is about bettering the breed, not simply producing offspring, although that is a byproduct of breeding. I am sorry to see such an ad posted. It gives reputable breeders a very, very bad name.

Most ads here read similiar but state what breeds they mate to ...

I also think that that is wrong and disgusting, unless it is a registered breeder. But it is still horrible to use your dog like that!
