Well, we were at the vet again today for more boosters. Church's upper canine teeth are just starting to come in, but his baby teeth are still there so right now he has double canines! It looks really odd. The teeth are right on for him being 18-20 weeks old.
His weight at the vet today was 7.4 pounds so he is STILL growing at his same rate of 2 pounds a month.

personally, i always weigh mine by holding them & weighing us both, then deducting my weight.

I remember when Ramsay was around that age we were afraid he was going to be some sort of giant. He was having some ear trouble, so we were going to the vet every other week for and every time we went he was 1.5lbs heavier than he was the last time! He went from 4lbs-9lbs practically in the blink of an eye. Then all of a sudden he stopped and he put on only about 2lbs total over a span of about 6-8 months and he's 11lbs.

My kitten is not even five months old for another week, and he just weighed in at slightly over 10 lbs.  He's a Savannah kitten, F5, and he's growing rapidly. He is not overweight at all.  He gets neutered in January.  I wonder often how big he will get.

My other kitten is 10 months and 9lbs, average cat sized.  My 4 3/4 month old 10 pounder outgrew him already.

Hi everyone!

My wife and I have a gorgeous Gray Cat named "MoMo" and at 8 months of age he already weighs 14 pounds and measures 31+" from nose to tip of tail. Can anyone tell me how big he will get once he stops growing? We have a White Long haired Male Persian Cat named "Frankie Five Angels" that is 9 years old and MoMo is Bigger than Frankie. "MoMo" true to His name is always hungry and dominates the feeding bowls. We have a total of three cats and "MoMo" doesn't allow any of them to eat until he has fully satisfied himself. Its crazy!!!

Wow I really think I have possibly the tiniest kitten ever!! My Tom is almost 14 weeks old and weighs only 2.06 pounds!! He is very small built as well, and so was his mum- probably about 2/3 the size of an average full-grown cat.

The vet weighs him every time I go in and even though he's been poorly recently, he is gaining weight steadily... But he's just so tiny!! He was the second biggest in the litter, and the other two smaller litter mates really were tiny things.

I've never really worried about his weight but compared to everyone else, I'm now wondering if something is wrong...

Gorgeous cat! And love that he's called Church too... Reminds me of the cat in one of my favourite series of books! I don't think my little one will manage to get to half of that size!!

Yeah I have another cat who was very small as a kitten, well two actually, they are littermates. Both of them were "runts" compared to their littermates. I can't remember what Harley weighed when she was your cat's age, but she was always tiny as a kitten and as an adult now she weighs 7 lbs..
Her brother Mr Grey started out even smaller than her, though, and he ended up catching up to his bigger littermates as he grew to be a "teenager" and got up to about 9 pounds as an adult, although he has lost some weight as an adult because he's had some health issues with allergies and immune/EGC.

He's now 8 months old.  At 7, he weighed 14.25 lbs.  I haven't re-weighed him yet.  He is the one on the right side.  Notice the dog and other cat?  The other cat is a normal, average 10 lb Savannah Cat.  The breeder has told me he could be huge or small.  His grandfather was a giant.  His mother, average.  His father a giant.  We just don't know.  However, he has outgrown all cats in the litter, including his mother.  The window is 5' tall x 9' long.  The dog is a German Shepherd.  This gives a bit of info as to his size.  I am really hoping he hits 20 to 25 lbs.  Never know!

So how big did your cat end uo to be. I have a Savannah that is 1year old and is 12 1/2 pounds. I am told they continue to grow until about 2 years old. Did you find that to be true?

Oh he is so cute, he looks like my kitty, who is 8 months old and 12 pounds already - but the vet says he isn't fat, just a very large cat, and he has been since I found him when he was just 2 1/2 weeks old.  I had to bottle feed him - and he just keeps growing so fast.  I wouldn't worry about your kitty - just love him and play with him and try to only feed him twice a day. Indoor Mackerel Tabbies do tend to be overweight, but they are so awesome!  Just think of him as being big boned.

My kitten is literally massive. He is 6 months old tomorrow, and when I took him to the vets today he weighed 10.5lbs. I'm starting to consider I must have adopted a Panther. hahaha. He is really tall for a kitten, and most people have assumed he is fully grown and can't believe hes still only a kitten! He is also very muscular. No idea what breed he is, as I adopted him! He is a black cat with flecks of brown in his furr. Doesn't really meow which is weird, he just makes a vocal purr that sounds beyond adorable! He is almost bigger than my Jack Russell! (miniature). Anyone got any ideas what he could be crossed with? He is really playful but a big softie really. Loves a belly rub!
