That's amazing, isn't it? We're still 6 years from the 100th Anniversary of the start of The Great War. There were still veterans of the American Civil War that lived into the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s. If you think about it these events weren't all that long ago. Incredible.

Can you imagine all the things he must have seen during his lifetime? Amazing! I'm glad he was blessed with a long life. I hope he rests peacefully.

Isn't it just amazing? To have fought and lived through a war and to live a long life? They must have done something right.
