Quality Wet Food Without Chunks?

Hi Everyone,

I recently acquired a new kitty and while she is perfectly behaved and beyond sweet, I am a bit concerned about her eating habits. At the vet's suggestion, I've been feeding Fromm's wet food as part of her diet. However, while she laps up the liquid, she doesn't eat the actual chunks of meat. I've tried a couple different kinds of Fromm's flavors, and have better results with the tuna, which she seems to enjoy the most, but, based on what she's leaving behind, it doesn't look like she loves it. She's a little girl and I'm concerned that she's not getting enough of the nutrients she needs. She does have an appetite, because she eats Iams dry food in the morning and loves her treats, so, I think it's just what I'm offering as the wet option.

Can anyone recommend a high-quality wet food that doesn't contain chunks?

Thanks so much!
-Jenn

You can be a freak like me, I go into pet stores & shake the cans....juicy ones I chalk up to chunks.

Ummm....Innova EVO, Eagle Pack, Wellness....my guys like chunks so it's hard to think of many.

Thanks! The associates at the two pet stores I visit weren't particularly helpful, so, thanks so much for coming through for Audrey. I'm sure she'll be happy with these new choices!

JUST FYI ... MOST on here think SD is basically junk food ... the RXs have a place but the regular = grocery

Solid Gold Blended Tuna isn't pate, it's shredded/chunky with gravy. Not all of Merricks are pates either. I think the small Nutro Natural cans are pate, at least the kitten ones are.

In my house we have also been known to use a fork and make chunks into pate

Stan likes the chunk, Bella will lick the gravy and walk away unless it's been mushed into pate.

You beat me to it - I was going to say that not all Merrick's are pate but the chunks are quite small. I chop it up a bit anyway to get rid of any larger chunks. I find our kitties will eat the gravy and softer bits first and later go back to eat the chunks.
