Have you tried "Excedrine Migraine"? If you've tried all that and nothing works, go see a doctor. There could be something else triggering it.

I think there are pressure points in your webbing between your thumb and forefinger to help relieve headaches...I have no idea if that actually works..maybe google pressure points??

There is also one in your wrist..I am not 100% sure which one helps with your headaches though.

On the west side of... of... somewhere.
I'm in the same boat right now... have been having one of my migraines/tension headaches since last Thursday... At home, it's not as bad, but when I go out, around noise, it gets much worse. Sunday I thought i was going to drop at the cash register (working retail) because the pain was too much. I went home.

If you're feeling it in the neck and shoulders, like me, then it may be a combo headache. I'll be seeing a massage therapist this afternoon. She specializes in deep tissue... heh heh heh... I hope i can drive home afterward.

I got to the point with this one that Aleve and my muscle relaxants weren't helping... of course, the MR is a fairly mild one, compared to others... but it still *usually* does the job.

Something I've heard, is if you normally drink coffee, and haven't had any since the pain began, have some... of course, the opposite can also be true... if you don't normally have any and then have some, and the pain hits...

Good luck... I feel for ya.

If it's a migraine the best thing to do is go lay down somewhere quiet and dark with a cold washcloth on your forehead or the back of your neck - does help with bad headaches too. If you have someone there at home that can rub your neck and scalp that may help.

Wow I can sympathize. I used to get migraines all the time. If it is a migraine, there is a shot you can get from the doctor or at the ER - it's called Imitrex. Try to be quiet, rest in a dark room, but if it gets worse or no better, I'd go to the doctor. Hope you feel better soon.

Yeah, Imitrex comes in pill form but it doesn't work for everyone!! I have tried it several times, because Ive had "migraines" all my life! I finally went to see a nuerologist and found out Ive not really been having migraines but I have "TMJ" which hurts like a son of a gun! There is other shots they can get you though, demerol, toradol, stuff like that! Are you sick to your stomach at all??

Good That it goes away!

This works. My brother-in-law is a chiropractor and acupuncturist, he showed me how to do it and it works for me. Basically, use your thumb and forefinger on your temples and press hard.

It helped when I first started taking it! Was such a relief! But after about a year it stopped working so well for me and we had to revert back to the old ways!

I sure hope it will help but I am afraid to try it. Do you get the Auras too or fashing lights with spots before a Migraine Hits. I had one in the Vets office when Coco went last time and my Meds were her. Lucky I got home before it hit.
