I feed both. I try to feed mostly wet food but some mornings I'm just in too much of a hurry and they get dry food. I hardly ever mix dry with wet, except sometimes I do with Chloe because she doesn't like wet food very much and this way I can get her to eat some.

Most cans of cat food I read say to feed a ratio of 75% dry food to 25% wet food. Avoderm says that this means that the cat's daily amount of food should be 25% wet and 75% dry. This doesn't make sense to me at all, shouldn't it be the other way around?

They get about 1/4 cup of dry in the morning when I feed dry instead of wet.

I wouldn't worry about that type of labeling. (I think it is often assumed that for convenience, most people feed more dry and less wet.) There are alot of pros to eating wet food and indeed many owners feed a totally wet diet. As long as your kitties have a healthy weight (i.e. not too skinny/too pudgy) I don't think that you need to worry about adding a bit of dry food every now and then.
